Common Name: Gray Wolf

Scientific Name: Canis lupus

Habitat: Woodlands.

Diet: Carnivorous.

Interesting Facts:
This species has been extirpated (disappeared) from Pennsylvania since about 1892. Stories about wolf kills persisted through the 1940s.
